Home / What Guides Us

The future is open, and a more equitable world is possible.

What guides us

The engine of change is not words or proclamations. Our commitment has nothing to do with ideology.

We move forward through small, concrete actions that, added together, create an enormous impact.

We are able to transform the world:

A community health worker sits on a reed mat with a mother, going through an illustrated booklet together while children gather around. A teacher leans over a desk to guide two young pupils through their exercise books in a busy classroom. Schoolchildren wash their hands at a row of tippy-tap stations built from wooden poles and suspended jerrycans.

Only by joining together can we overcome hunger, injustice, isolation, inequality, environmental crisis, and division.

But solidarity breaks down if, in moments of crisis, we retreat into selfishness and indifference. We must open our eyes and our hearts, and multiply our solidarity toward our community, and toward every human being.

With the support of their community, every person has the chance to become the architect of their own future. But Reciprocity, Community, Solidarity, and Harmony with the Ecosystem must become real, living values again — not just ideals.

What we believe in

Circular Economy

One that includes and reintegrates not just things, but people.

Nonprofit Work

Never a tool of bad politics, never trading on people's good faith.

Solidarity

Carried out shoulder to shoulder.

Our center of gravity

Solidarity Humanism must become the soul of economic and social life.
